About

Teaching is in my blood.

IMG_20150805_113107Believing that everyone can achieve when equipped with the right set of skills just keeps me going.

Alyssa Chen is an Curriculum and EdTech Consultant and Founder of Smartification.net. As an educator, Alyssa was the driver of her school’s Thinking Committee team and was a vocal advocate for infusing critical thinking with technology in lessons. During that time, Alyssa used iPads and games to create engaging, differentiated learning experience to meet the unique needs of her students. She has also given talks and workshops at organisations.

Alyssa is also a strong advocate of parents bonding with their children. She believes that children’s first teachers are always the parents and how well they do (in terms of both academic success and strong socioemotional competence) largely depends on their relationship with their parents.
