Emotional Freedom Technique was mentioned when we shared Right Brain Kids’ tips on Healing the Right Brain. Now Pamela Hickein has created a series of three videos about Emotional Freedom Technique and how it works with the TweedleWink program.

About Emotional Freedom Technique

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is similar in concept to acupuncture in that EFT recognizes that you have an “energy system” — a not-quite-physical distribution and delivery system of channels and meridians through which your life force flows.

And while acupuncture works with the meridians and specific energy points along these meridians to alleviate physical discomforts or imbalances, EFT works with these meridians and points to address your emotional balance, and to enhance your emotional well-being.

But EFT does not use needles.

Emotional Freedom Technique uses tools that are low-cost and readily available to nearly everyone — your fingers!

By interacting with specific energy points along these meridians using a technique known as “tapping,” you can bring about changes in your physical energy flow, which in turn affects your emotions.

Said another way, you can bring about positive changes in your emotions by restoring your energy flow through physical interaction (“tapping”) on your energy points.

Basically, the concept of EFT is that most stress or unhappiness is due to an energy imbalance.
